What is covered in the 11+ Intensive Course for Year 4s
The Geek School 11-Plus Intensive helps children consolidate the core areas covered in the grammar and private school exams. Children attending the Intensive perfect their exam technique and timing and learn how to approach key exam question types. In the past, some children have seen their scores increase by as much as 30% after the first week of attending the 11 Plus Intensive Course.

Covering key English paper content, 9.30am-12.30pm
Saturday 10th August 2024
Core maths content and hard 11 Plus exam maths topics.
Saturday 17th August 2024
Verbal and non-verbal reasoning core topics.
Venue
The August Intensive is the hardest course of the year, and it's extremely important that the children are comfortable, so we always hold it at our Beckenham Centre, which has two floors and lots of space for our hardworking students.
The venue is Geek School Beckenham, 60 Beckenham Road, Beckenham BR3 4LS.
The bus 124 stops right in front of the venue.
What The 11 Plus Intensive Covers
English
Comprehension, spelling, punctuation and grammar, and creative writing skills.
Maths
Covering core maths topics, and problematic questions in grammar and independent school papers.
Verbal Reasoning
We teach students all the core codes and help students with exam technique.
Non-Verbal Reasoning
All key difficult question types are covered, including spatial reasoning.
11 Plus Intensive Dates
The 11 Plus intensive will run on the following dates:

Week 1: Tuesday 20th August to Thursday 22nd August 2024 (3 days)

Week 2: Tuesday 27th August to Thursday 29 August 2024 (3 days)
Time: 9am-5pm
You can book your child to attend both weeks or one week. Most of our students attend both weeks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I choose the days my child attends the 11 Plus Intensive?
If attending both weeks is difficult, we suggest that each student attend either week 1 or week 2. We cannot mix the dates across both weeks.
What year is course for?
This intensive course is for children who are in year 4, and will go into year 5 in September 2024.
How much does the course cost?
The cost is £200 per week. Payments can be made online or using childcare vouchers or CCG payments. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible to arrange payment using childcare vouchers or CCG Pay. Our staff will assist you with the necessary steps to ensure your payment is processed smoothly.
Is lunch provided?
Lunch is not provided. Please pack a lunch and a refillable bottle of water for your child each day.
What is the policy for cancellations or refunds?
Cancellations must be made by the following dates:

For Week 2: by Tuesday, 20th August 2024. Please note that refunds will not be available for missed sessions, and cancellations must be communicated at least one week before the start of the booked session.
